REQUESTING A FREE INTRODUCTORY SESSION

Before booking any of our services, we recommend starting with a free 20 minute consultation. This session allows us to explore your research needs, suggest the most suitable support options, provide a personalised quote, and ensure that Aniche Scholar is the right fit for your academic journey.

Step 2:
Share Your Research Needs

Complete the form by briefly outlining your research topic, current challenges, and the kind of support you are seeking.

Step 3:
Initial Review of Your Request

A consultant will carefully review your submission to assess how well our services align with your academic needs.

Step 4:
Schedule Your Free Consultation

If your request is approved, you will receive a private link to the Aniche Scholar calendar to book your free 20 minute session with one of our consultants.

AFTER THE FREE CONSULTATION: DOCUMENT REVIEW PROCESS

After your free consultation, if you require document review support (e.g., feedback on research proposals, chapters, or full dissertations), here’s how the process works:

Step 1:
Submit Document Details

After the consultation, you will be asked to provide key details about your document so we can offer an accurate quote and timeline:

Total word count
Your desired submission date to Aniche Scholar
Your official university deadline

⚠️ Please allow sufficient time for the document to be reviewed and for you to address the feedback and make corrections.

Allowing for an additional 1 - 2 weeks to address feedback, before submitting to your supervisor, is often recommended.

Step 2:
Receive a Custom Quote & Consultant Availability

Based on your document’s length, complexity, and urgency:

You will receive a personalised quote
We will confirm the consultant’s availability for your requested timeframe
If available, a temporary booking will be held for you. Payment should be made at least 48 hours before the booking date.
Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received.
Missed payment windows may result in your time slot being offered to another client.
Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, where possible
Rescheduling or cancelling less than 24 hours before the session will result in a penalty as indicated in our Ts & Cs

Step 3:
Document Review & Turnaround Time

Once payment is confirmed:

Documents are reviewed within 48 hours for standard-length submissions (e.g., up to 10 000 words)
Longer documents may require 3 – 5 working days, depending on availability and scope
You will receive detailed track comments and suggestions within the document.

Step 4:
Respond to Feedback & Final Support

You will have the opportunity to:

Review your document with our comments
Address the feedback
Reach out with follow-up questions for clarification (if applicable)
Book a one-on-one consultation to discuss feedback in detail to receive additional support

We recommend planning for 1 - 2 additional weeks after the review to revise your work before your final university deadline or submission to your supervisor.

Step 1:
Identify Your Support Needs

Based on the free consultation, we will determine the type of one-on-one support that suits your needs. This may include:

Proposal or chapter guidance
Accountability and motivation in the form of weekly, bi-weekly or monthly check-ins
Data collection preparation
Writing strategy and structure
Feedback sessions to accompany document reviews
Sessions to strategise following supervisor or examiner feedback

You will also be asked to confirm:

The stage of your research
Specific challenges you are facing
Your timeline and availability for sessions

Step 2:
Receive a Suggested Support Plan & Quote

Following the initial consultation, your consultant will:

Recommend a personalised support plan (e.g., once-off session, weekly mentorship, milestone-based check-ins)
Provide a quote based on the estimated time and depth of support required
Share their upcoming availability through a calendar link you can use for booking one-on-one consultations for your duration as a client

Step 3:
Confirm & Book Your Session

You will have access to the Aniche Scholar calendar to make bookings whenever you need to and based on the consultant's availability
Upon booking and booking confirmation, payment should be made at least 48 hours before the session to secure your booking
Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a calendar invite with the meeting link and session summary
Missed payment windows may result in your time slot being offered to another client
Rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance, where possible
Rescheduling or cancelling less than 24 hours before the session will result in a penalty as indicated in our Ts & Cs

Step 4:
Attend Your One-on-One Session

During your session, we will:

Work collaboratively through your specific research challenges
Offer expert guidance tailored to your project
Provide resources, strategies, or feedback depending on your needs
Sessions are conducted via Google Meet and are typically 60 minutes long

After the session:

You will receive any agreed-upon notes, action steps, or resources
You can request further support or book additional sessions as needed using the existing calendar link you have access to as a client
